What kinds of jobs are best for students and how structured do the jobs have to be?
  • Students are able to do a variety of entry level clerical work such as data entry, mailings, filing, Spanish translation, answering phones, mail distribution, typing, faxing, copying, scanning documents, labeling, inventory, customer service, and cashiering.
Can the student work in more than one department?
  • In many internship sites the students rotate through different departments throughout the day. This is completely up to the organization.
How much supervision does the student need?
  • Students usually need initial instructions but are able to work independently with little supervision.
